About Me

Hi! I'm Alicia, wife and mother of 4 great kids.  I love creating images that are "worth a thousand words" whether it's in the candid moment, or posed portrait.  I hope you enjoy what you see here, because I love sharing it with all of you!

Thanks for stopping by to see what I've captured recently!  To me a picture really is worth a thousand words, although sometimes, there are no words to express how an image might make you feel! I LOVE photography and preserving memories to last a lifetime.

Mamales {Family Portraits}

My first trip up Milcreek Canyon this spring did not disappoint! Everything is beautiful - SO green and full of life! I think we counted that this was our 4th or 5th family session together.  These boys are growing up to be great young adults, and are starting to add some girls to the mix! They were all so cooperative and polite - even for family photos!

Canyon {17}

Well, I talked him into it this year! My boys are not hip on photo sessions, but since it's his birthday, and because he loves me, he obliged and boy am I glad he did!  He said he'd go only if Megan went (it's not her favorite thing either) and together, they took some of the cutest, happiest pictures I've taken of them in a long time.  We went out to the Great Salt Lake State Park, and despite the mosquitos, it was a beautiful evening. Photographing my own kids means the world to me.  It's the whole reason I picked up the camera in the first place!  Happy Happy Birthday Canyon!  You bring so much love, laughter, and happiness into our home!  Thank you for being such an awesome kid.

Porter {Senior & Missionary}

Senior & Missionary sessions are becoming some of my favorite sessions.  These kids never cease to amaze me with all that they've already accomplished in their young lives - and Porter is no exception!  They have so many opportuntities to really advance their education in High School and he took a class that taught him everything you would ever need to know about gardening and agriculture.  So naturally, we had to go to his green house and capture him in the environment he loves! Then while capturing his "mission" photos, he told us the name of every plant, flower, and tree on the temple grounds! So impressive!  And look how handsome he is to boot!

Twin Sisters {3rd Birthday}

So...if I told you the whole story you might be here a while so here are a few bullet points...

  • Maddie is deathly afraid of bugs
  • Flower gardens are filled with bugs
  • When your twin sister cries, you should probably cry too
  • Kristal has arms of steel (carried the girls all the way across temple square so we could go inside)
  • There aren't bugs inside
  • When Grandma shows up everything is better

Despite how it might sound, we were able to capture some adorable photos of these sweet twin sisters who turned three this month!

Baby Mac {One Year Lifestyle Session}

Well...I'm still learning, but really loving the look and feeling of these lifestyle photo sessions.  I love that we captured Mac's first birthday photos in his environment just being himself.  Sometimes one year olds can be tricky because they are so attached to their mama's, so we played it safe in his nursery and playing on mom's bed.  It couldn't have turned out more perfect and you couldn't be any cuter Mac!  Happy Happy Birthday!
