About Me

Hi! I'm Alicia, wife and mother of 4 great kids.  I love creating images that are "worth a thousand words" whether it's in the candid moment, or posed portrait.  I hope you enjoy what you see here, because I love sharing it with all of you!

Thanks for stopping by to see what I've captured recently!  To me a picture really is worth a thousand words, although sometimes, there are no words to express how an image might make you feel! I LOVE photography and preserving memories to last a lifetime.

My good friend, and occasional swimming partner, Nadeane, asked me to photograph her one year old son Joshua.
We took him to the park and just followed him around with the camera.  He has such a sweet face, and lovable personality.
I love his "bear" crawl, and baby "chub"!

Wet Lashes Challenge

My photography mentor has issued a challenge for all of her workshop students to shoot a "wet lashes" photo.
Here are two images of Ian's lovely lashes!

Happy Birthday Megan

Okay, I know you don't see enough pictures of  Megan, but hey - it's her birthday!!

Here are some fun things you might not know about Megan...

She's been riding a two-wheeler since she was 4!  Here's the new "cruiser" she got today!

She LOVES to play "cars"!

Her FAVORITE breakfast is "Swedish Pancakes"!

She ADORES her baby - Braxton!

She is SO SMART!  She has loved doing puzzles for as long as I can remember!

Happy 6th Birthday Megan!  We love you!

And just remember - no matter how old you are, you'll always be the baby!

Dress 'em up & Take 'em out!!

Here are some fun pictures I took at my cousin's wedding!  Megan was of course in love with the whole thing!  Aryn wasn't to happy at first, but seemed a little happier when she realized how pretty she looked, and the boys were definitely  proud of how they looked!  I personally think they are all adorable - but I guess I should!

Pioneer Kids

Okay, so I've been trying to post this for over a week now!!!!!  Sorry for the delay.   I hope you all had a nice Pioneer Day!

"It is good to look to the past to gain appreciation for the present, and perspective for the future.  It is good to look upon the virtues of those who have gone before to gain strength for whatever lies ahead.  It is good to reflect upon the work of those who labored so hard, and gained so little in this world.  Their tremendous example can be a compelling motivation for each of us.  For each of us is a pioneer in his own life, often in his own family and many of us pioneer daily in seeking to do God's will and lift and serve those around us."  Gordon B.
