About Me

Hi! I'm Alicia, wife and mother of 4 great kids.  I love creating images that are "worth a thousand words" whether it's in the candid moment, or posed portrait.  I hope you enjoy what you see here, because I love sharing it with all of you!

Thanks for stopping by to see what I've captured recently!  To me a picture really is worth a thousand words, although sometimes, there are no words to express how an image might make you feel! I LOVE photography and preserving memories to last a lifetime.

Happy 4th!

Our 4th of July Celebration/Vacation in Bear Lake was a lot of fun.
Here are some pictures we took on the Limber Pine Trail.

Play-Doh Flag

Aryn created this American Flag out of Play-Doh today.  She wanted you all to see!

Summer Storms

One of our favorite things about summer are the afternoon thunderstorms that roll through.  We love to sit in the garage, listen to the thunder, watch for lightning, and enjoy the smell of fresh summer rain.  Today we had just that, and Megan said, "Mom, Mom, you have to get a picture of that!  It is so cool!"  So here are the pictures I took of our summer storm.

Just "Hangin'" Out

After I finished mowing the lawn this morning, I sat down in the shade of our trees to cool off.  The kids were in the tree so I snapped some fun pictures.  I practiced getting proper exposure with effective back lighting.  They love this tree and spend a lot of time up there.  If you ever walk past our house, and hear someone calling out to you - be sure to look up!

"Get your Snacks!"

Okay, here it is - the first official "Cerva's Snack Shack".  I just couldn't bring myself to take them to the pool for the fifth day in a row, so we had to find something else to do.   In hindsight, maybe the pool wasn't such a bad idea after all.    O'well, they had a blast  and spent good quality time together ('cause they don't get enough of that already).

They sold lemonade, licorice ropes, fun dips, blow pops, and an assorted mix of candy.

You may notice Canyon eating the candy.  He wanted nothing to do with selling it, so he put no money towards buying it in the beginning.  However, as soon as the "shack" opened, he was the first to start buying.

Now, tell me this doesn't make you want some strawberry lemonade!
